Training techniques (how I perform my best):
Hmmm, geez I wish I knew that…
Favorite pre trial food: Pancakes.
Favorite pre trial drink: V.
Best ever finish at the Aussie titles:
13th in 1990, a long long time ago…in a galaxy
far far away…
Why I enjoy trials: Sometimes when
I’m lying upside down on the side of a hill with
my leg jammed between the muffler and the tyre I wonder…
but mostly I enjoy the challenge. Also because my wife
and son/s can come along and enjoy it also.
What I do when I’m not riding trials:
Washing my bike (except when there are water restrictions
of course) and explaining to Isaac on a regular basis
why he can’t have a Sherco 0.5 yet. (Something
to do with not being able to touch the ground).
I started trials because:
I used to observe from the age of about 6 months when
my dad used to ride so I sort of grew up in trials although
I didn’t start competing until I was about 18.
I had a battered TL125 at the time and there was a trial
on near where I lived, I went along to watch and thought
“I can do that” but soon found out I couldn’t
and have been trying ever since!!!
