| Trials career
highlights: 1st place B grade in Aussie tittles
1999, 2000.
Trials goals: Compete well in twin
shock class, promote some youth, move into masters class
and be competitive.
Training techniques (how I perform my best):
Train on harder stuff than what you will be faced with
in a trial, fitness is a major factor, race motocross
and cross train with other formats such as enduro and
trail riding.
Favorite pre trial food: space food
sticks
Favorite pre trial drink: orange powerade
Best ever finish at the Aussie titles:
17th open solo
Why I enjoy trials: Nothing more fun
than trials, it is a one on one where you can push yourself
as hard as you wish and generally pretty safe in comparison
to other motorcycle formats.
What I do when I’m not riding trials:
ride some other sort of bike.
I started trials because: of my then
Boss (Trevor Bennett). I soon realised this is what
we were trying to do in the bush for so many years on
heavy big old trail bikes. I did my first trial on DT175
and was instantly hooked. Thanks Trev. |
